Music & Movement for Toddlers (16 mos. to 3 1/2 yrs.) (11 weeks)
Participate with your toddler in singing, moving, dancing, listening, & playing simple instruments – while developing a strong musical bond with your child.  Through activities that bridge the connection between music & movement, your child’s musical aptitude & listening abilities are further developed.

Music & Movement for ages 3 to 5 - Cycle of Seasons (11 weeks)
This year prepares the 3 to 5 year old child for the Music Makers I and II pre-keyboard classes.  We teach music as a second language, using the ear training (aural) approach first.  They learn tonal and rhythm patterns and music dynamics that establish a solid music-making foundation, leading to musical literacy.  They will learn to match pitch using solfege, sing tunefully, and move more gracefully.  We use the Edwin Gordon method of rhythm instruction. Such a listening foundation leads to long-term success with music reading in future classes.

Group pre-piano class - fun, easy way to learn to play. We dance, sing, play games, and play the piano.

Music Makers I Pre-Keyboard (age 6 before Sept 1)  (12 weeks)
At the end of Music Makers I, your child will have a comprehensive music foundation that is an excellent preparation for the next step, Music Makers: At the Keyboard. This weekly class cultivates the child’s musical development through songs, tonal & rhythm patterns, stories, games, movement activities, instrumental play, and beginning keyboard.  Parents are asked to attend for the last 15 min. of class.
